At Santa Maria della Scala, from 3 to 5 October 2025, will host the fifth edition of Siena Comics For Kids, the comics festival dedicated to children and teenagers.
After the great success of the 2024 edition, which recorded over 6,000 visitors, the festival returns with a new, content-rich programme aimed at engaging young readers aged 6 to 18, promoting reading and enhancing the vibrant culture of comics for young people, an expressive language in constant growth.
For three days, the museum complex will come alive with a market-exhibition aimed at the youngest visitors, workshops, meetings and events dedicated to the latest news of the Ninth Art, offering an engaging and accessible cultural experience.
The protagonist of this edition will be Alessandro Barbucci, author of much-loved series such as W.I.T.C.H. and Sky Doll, who will be the guest of honor with a personal exhibition and a special focus on Monster Allergy, the cult series created together with Katja Centomo and Francesco Artibani, now published by Tunué and also turned into a successful animated series. Barbucci will also sign the festival's official poster.
