At Santa Maria della Scala, from October 3 to 5, 2025, the fifth edition of Siena Comics For Kids, the comic festival dedicated to children and teenagers, will take place.
After the great success of the 2024 edition, which attracted over 6,000 visitors, the festival returns with a new program full of content aimed at engaging young readers, aged 6 to 18, promoting reading, and enhancing the vibrant culture of youth comics, a constantly growing expressive language.
For three days, the museum complex will come alive with a market exhibition designed for the youngest, workshops, meetings, and events dedicated to the latest developments in the Ninth Art, offering an engaging and accessible cultural experience.
The star of this edition will be Alessandro Barbucci, author of beloved series such as W.I.T.C.H. and Sky Doll, who will be the guest of honor with a solo exhibition and a special focus on Monster Allergy, the cult series created together with Katja Centomo and Francesco Artibani, now published by Tunué and also turned into a successful animated series. Barbucci will also sign the official festival poster.
